Dalian Yingbo Football Club (Chinese: 大连英博足球俱乐部), officially known as Dalian Young Boy, is a Chinese professional football club based in Dalian, Liaoning, that competes in China League One, the second tier of Chinese football. Dalian Yingbo plays its home matches at the Dalian Barracuda Bay Football Stadium, located within Ganjingzi District.
History
The team was founded in 2021 as Dalian Duxing Football Club (Chinese: 大连读行足球俱乐部). Upon establishment, the team has strong connection with the dissolved Dalian Shide, as the coaching staff consisted of former Shide players. The team attracted many Dalian players who previously played at local teams such as Dalian Aerbin and Dalian Transcendence, many of which had Chinese Super League appearances.
In the 2022 season, Dalian Duxing started in the Chinese Champions League. The team placed first in Group I of the regional competition and made it to the final round, where they finished third, and went on to win the promotion play-offs to acquire promotion into China League Two.
At the beginning of the 2023 season, the team changed to a neutralised name Dalian Zhixing Football Club (Chinese: 大连智行足球俱乐部), as requested by the Chinese Football Association, and signed more players from Dalian. Dalian Zhixing finished second in the 2023 China League Two season, to gain promotion into China League One. However, the investors of the team, the Dalian Shanhai Group, were involved in illegal fundraising cases. This meant that the club lost their funding, and was put into a forced auction in December 2023. On 15 December, it was confirmed that Dalian Tongshun Construction Co., Ltd. (Chinese: 大连统顺建设有限公司), a company that has been running an amateur team Dalian Tongshun Construction F.C. since 2014, completed the acquisition.
On 29 January 2024, the team renamed as Dalian Young Boy Football Club (Chinese: 大连英博足球俱乐部), which was adopted from a pool of names in a naming contest.
チームは1995年に「大連賽徳隆足球倶楽部」として創設されました。その後、「大連金州足球倶楽部」や「大連艾力足球倶楽部」など何度か名称を変更し、現在の「大連智星足球倶楽部」に落ち着いたのは2002年のことです。
大連智星は、中国サッカー・スーパーリーグの中で最も成功したチームの一つです。リーグ優勝3回、カップ戦優勝4回、スーパーカップ優勝1回という成績を収めています。また、AFCチャンピオンズリーグには2009年と2010年の2回出場しており、2009年は準優勝を果たしました。
大連智星のホームスタジアムは、大連市にある大連体育中心です。収容人数は6万1千人であり、中国サッカー・スーパーリーグの中で最も大きなスタジアムの一つです。
大連智星の監督は、2019年からホーカン・エリクソン氏が務めています。エリクソン氏はスウェーデンの元サッカー選手であり、監督としては上海申花や天津泰達などの中国のクラブを率いた経験があります。
大連智星の主力は、中国代表のヤオ・シャオグアン選手と、ナイジェリア代表のエデルソ・エシエル選手です。ヤオ選手は、中国サッカー・スーパーリーグで通算100ゴール以上を記録した実績のあるストライカーです。エシエル選手は、守備的なミッドフィールダーであり、中国サッカー・スーパーリーグで最優秀選手に選ばれた経験があります。
